This site contains key communications and materials that will enhance the learning experiences for the MPH DE students during the 1st Semester of Year 1. Being a Distance Programme, the MPH DE Programme requires that students learn for the most part on their own. The site has been created to facilitate better interaction between students and tutors during the learning process and to promote interraction between the students in the Year I Semester 1 cohort. It contains enhaned re-usable learning objects, self directed learning activities and materials for the discussion forums. This course is intended for use by National and Regional Trainers in each of the HEALTH Alliance Members countries which include Kenya, DRC Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Uganda. The manual will be used in training district disaster response teams to plan for disaster management in their respective localities.
